I qualified and first registered as a nurse in 2005, from The University of Surrey. Going on to undertake advanced practice courses and a BSc in Nursing Practice from the University of Southampton in 2012. I became an independent prescriber in 2015.
I have studied at Masters and Doctorate Levels, incuding change methodology for large organisations. I was supported by the Wessex Deanery from 2015 to train as a Consultant Nurse in Frailty, where I also developed Quality Improvement Experience and Skills.
My clinical career has been varied, hospital ward leadership, community nursing and urgent community response are among the many specialties covered.
More recently I moved into a professional leadership and operations role in a large NHS Trust.
In 2023 I undertook training and development in formal leadership coaching via HumanTechnics accredited by the University of the West of England - Bristol. Passing with a distinction at Masters Level, I am now building my experience and working towards gaining the required hours of practice to register as a member of international coaching professional bodies.
